Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Rooteam.com Inc for using CodeCobra. We have tried to write them the way we would want to read them: short, specific, and without clauses designed to be discovered later.

The short version. You own everything CodeCobra builds for you. You pay only for what you actually use — no subscription, no minimum, no per-seat charge, invite as many people as you like. You can stop whenever you want and take your code with you, because it was already in your own repository the whole time. We never train models on your data.

1. Who this is between

“We” and “us” means Rooteam.com Inc, 1449 37th Street, Suite 210, Brooklyn, NY 11204. “You” means the person or company using CodeCobra. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. What CodeCobra does

CodeCobra is an AI agent for Odoo ERP. You describe what you need in plain language. It connects to your Odoo instance, answers questions from your real data, plans and writes custom modules, produces deliverables such as spreadsheets and dashboards, and — when you tell it to — deploys changes to staging or production.

3. Your account

Keep your login credentials and API keys to yourself; anything done with them is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised. You need to be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. One person, one account — but an organization can have as many member accounts as it wants, at no extra cost.

4. Your work is yours

You own everything CodeCobra produces for you — the modules, the code, the reports, the documents, the dashboards. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to use it beyond what is needed to run the service for you. We do not use it to train models.

Your existing code and data stay yours too. When CodeCobra works on a repository, it is your repository, and the code lands there. You can also download everything a task produced as a ZIP at any time.

We own CodeCobra itself — the platform, the interface, our name and branding. Using the service does not transfer any of that to you.

5. Connecting your Odoo instance

You decide which systems CodeCobra can reach and what it is allowed to do there. Every connection carries a permission level you set — Read, Write or Delete — and CodeCobra cannot exceed it.

By connecting a system, you are confirming you are allowed to. If the Odoo instance belongs to a client, make sure you have their authorization first.

6. Review before you deploy

This is the one thing we want you to read twice. CodeCobra writes real code that runs against real business systems. It is good, and it is not infallible.

You are responsible for what you approve and deploy. Every change goes through a plan you approve and a pull request you merge, and you get a live Odoo preview to test against before anything reaches production. Use them. Review the diff, test the change, and keep backups of any production system you point us at. We built the guardrails; deciding that a change is right for your business is yours.

7. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or use CodeCobra to help someone else break it.
  • Connect systems you are not authorized to access.
  • Try to reverse-engineer the platform, work around usage limits, or resell access as if it were your own product.
  • Deliberately overload or disrupt the service for other customers.
  • Upload anything malicious, or anything you do not have the right to give us.

8. Pricing and payment

CodeCobra is usage-based. You buy credit and it is drawn down as you use the service, priced per million tokens by the capability class you choose. There is no subscription, no monthly minimum, no annual commitment, and no per-user fee — the number of people in your organization does not change your bill.

Current rates are published on our pricing page. If we change them, we will tell you before the change takes effect, and credit you have already bought is honoured at the rate you bought it at. Organizations on invoiced terms are billed monthly for the usage recorded that month.

Unused credit does not expire while your account is open. Charges for usage already incurred are not refundable, because the compute is already spent — but if something goes wrong on our side, talk to us and we will make it right.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep CodeCobra running and deploy platform updates without interrupting active work. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this stage, and we will not pretend otherwise. Occasionally we need to take things down for maintenance; where we can plan it, we will tell you in advance.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using CodeCobra whenever you like. There is nothing to cancel and no notice period, because there is no subscription. Your code is already in your own repository, and you can download anything else you want to keep before you go.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 7, that has unpaid invoiced balances after we have asked, or where we are legally required to. Except in cases of abuse, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first.

When an account closes, we delete the associated data as described in our Privacy Policy, keeping only what tax and accounting law requires.

11. Warranties and liability

CodeCobra is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be correct for your particular circumstances. That is why section 6 exists.

To the maximum extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will email account holders and update the date at the top of this page before it takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the service — and because there is no commitment, that costs you nothing.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
